First Day of Preschool

The first day of school started off by mingling with simple centers and getting used to a new environment. Something simple as knowing where the bathroom is located at is very important to preschool. We spent this day focusing on procedures, rules, and routines so that future preschool days can run smoothly and become more enjoyable for all.

Taking turns and sharing at preschool can be hard but a very important skill to master.

Sometimes it takes awhile to get used to the camera and getting your picture taken by your teacher whom you don't know real well yet:

Preschoolers are notorious for organizing and cataloging toys or objects. This is a form of pre-math skills and developing their thinking and cognitive skills:

The first day went really well. At the end of the preschool day everyone were buddies and looking forward to continuing preschool!
